Education

  • Pepperdine University School of Law, J.D.
  • University of California, Santa Barbara, B.A.

After handling high stakes commercial and product liability cases, Christina’s move to education and disability law blended her extensive litigation experience with her passion for service to children.

As a mother of three children who have attended private, public, and parochial schools, Christina has had personal experience advocating for her own child’s need for accommodations following his brain trauma, navigating Individualized Educational Programs and 504 Plans.

Christina has been devoted to service and support to Southern California’s children through multiple organizations. This includes twenty years as a member of the Board of Directors and General Counsel for the R.M. Pyles Boys Camp. The Camp is a non-profit organization that provides a summer wilderness and wrap-around program for at-risk boys from Southern California. She was the co-founder of the Ambassadors of Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles (CHLA), which she helped launch in its inaugural year in 2011 and which currently raises $24 million annually. Additionally, Christina has served in multiple leadership positions at CHLA and affiliate groups including the Peterson Rehabilitation Department Campaign, Las Madrinas, and the Spiritual Guild of CHLA. Her proven litigation experience, coupled with her personal experience as a parent, renders her a strong advocate for children and their families facing challenges in the education system.

Prior to joining Miller Advocacy Group, Christina practiced at the law firms of Girardi & Keese, Arter & Hadden, and Musick, Peeler & Garrett. Christina graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and received her law degree from Pepperdine University of Law.
