Marci started Miller Advocacy Group to make the advocacy process accessible and affordable to all families. All of the attorneys and advocates at Miller Advocacy Group are parents of children with disabilities, and we use our personal experience, as well as our years of combined professional experience, to serve students and families who need assistance navigating the complicated web of education and disabilities law.
Marci graduated cum laude from Claremont McKenna College and attended New York University School of Law, where she was an articles editor for the NYU Law Review. Prior to working in special education, Marci practiced litigation and employment law at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. Marci received her Certificate in College Counseling with Distinction from UCLA, with a practicum in counseling students with learning disabilities.
Marci serves as a Board Member for United Cerebral Palsy of Orange County (UCP-OC). The mission of UCP-OC is to help children with disabilities reach their full potential and improve the quality of life for their families.
Marci is on the Advisory Board of Let’s Talk LD, a resource for those with learning, social communication, and attentional differences, and the caregivers and advocates who support them. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Berger Institute for Work, Family and Children, a leading source of quantitative, interdisciplinary research on the intersection between business practices and family life.
