Marci started Miller Advocacy Group to make the advocacy process accessible and affordable to all families. All of the attorneys and advocates at Miller Advocacy Group are parents of children with disabilities, and we use our personal experience, as well as our years of combined professional experience, to serve students and families who need assistance navigating the complicated web of education and disabilities law.
Marci graduated cum laude from Claremont McKenna College and attended New York University School of Law, where she was an articles editor for the NYU Law Review. Prior to working in special education, Marci practiced litigation and employment law at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP and Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP. Marci received her Certificate in College Counseling with Distinction from UCLA, with a practicum in counseling students with learning disabilities.
Marci is hearing impaired and is a member of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Bar Association (DHHBA). She is also a Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) with a Learning Disabilities (LD) Designation.
